Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Denodo Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable architectures, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure seamless data delivery to support enterprise-wide decision-making. The candidate should have hands on experience in Denodo Version 8+ & above.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture and Design:

• Design end-to-end data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and frameworks for data integration and virtualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

2. Implementation and Development:

• Lead the development of Denodo views, including base, derived, and interface views.
• Implement caching strategies and optimize query performance for large-scale data environments.
• Configure and manage Denodo environments, including security, user management, and system settings.

3. Integration and Connectivity:

• Integrate Denodo with various data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files.
• Ensure secure and reliable data connectivity across systems.

4. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of the Denodo Platform, including query execution and resource utilization.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and delivery.

5. Governance and Documentation:

• Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for Denodo architectures, configurations, and processes.

6. Collaboration and Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Denodo developers and other team members.
• Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving Denodo-related issues.

7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on Denodo features, tools, and industry trends.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and enhancements to improve the data virtualization landscape.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data virtualization, with at least 3 years on the Denodo Platform.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable Denodo solutions.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and enterprise data management.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Understanding of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Denodo certification or equivalent training.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Java.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to integrate data from multiple sources, optimize data delivery, and support business intelligence initiatives. The candidate should have hands on experience in Denodo Version 8+ & above.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Virtualization Development:

• Design and implement Denodo views, including base, derived, and interface views.
• Develop and maintain data virtualization layers for real-time and batch processing.
• Create and optimize caching strategies for improved query performance.

2. Data Integration:

• Connect and integrate Denodo with various data sources such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files.
• Ensure seamless and secure data flow between systems.

3. Performance Tuning:

• Monitor and optimize Denodo platform performance, including query execution and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data retrieval and transformation.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to teams on Denodo solutions.

5. Documentation and Standards:

• Document Denodo configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and scalability of data solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Denodo Platform.
• Strong background in Data Integration, Data Modeling, and Query Optimization.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik is a plus.
