Business Development Manager (GCC Market)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technology Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on expanding and nurturing business opportunities in the GCC market. This role will be instrumental in driving growth, building relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business avenues within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Expansion & Strategy Development:
• • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share in the GCC region.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and market segments within the technology industry.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry developments.
• Sales and Revenue Growth:
• • Drive revenue generation through business development efforts, identifying both short-term and long-term sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, with a focus on high-value deals.
  • Negotiate and close deals with key accounts in line with company goals.
• Networking & Partnerships:
• • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with local and international technology vendors, agencies, and industry leaders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
• Market Intelligence & Reporting:
• • Continuously monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine business development strategies.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in business development within the technology sector, with a strong focus on the GCC market.
• Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the GCC market, its business culture, key industry players, and regulatory environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in sectors such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and digital transformation.
• Sales Acumen: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business in highly competitive environments.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Education: A bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM software and business development tools
