Title and Summary
Product Manager, Decision Intelligence, National Fraud Service The Security Solutions Organization (SSO) team is responsible for Mastercards safety and security related product management efforts to protect the integrity of the electronic payment system as well as ensure payments are convenient yet secure. The SSO products are focused on enabling authentication, fraud prevention, risk mitigation and dispute resolution across all payment channels as well as all stakeholders ; issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, and consumers. The candidate will be working on;- Managing Mastercard SSO Card Fraud Management Services in the Eastern Europe, Middle East/Africa (EEMEA) region
- Ongoing adoption of key Card based Fraud Management products
- Product enhancement roadmap management
- Product commercialization management, business ownership and management of long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a commercialized product
- Overseeing product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the products life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L
- Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition to create go-to-market strategies
- Interfacing with key customers on the product support and capturing their enhancement requests for further gap analysis
- Managing pricing development and billing support queries related to the Fraud management Products
- Be an expert on the card fraud trends/vectors in the region and work with product development team to implement product capabilities to address those fraud vectors
- Build overall understanding of Cyber & Intelligence Solutions offerings and broader Mastercard products and services to leverage synergies and developing new use cases for Card Fraud Management to maximize value delivered to customers
- Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the Product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus
- Understand Mastercards business model and take key financial or commercial factors into consideration to positively influence revenue delivery and cost efficiency
- Leverage the Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products
- Deploy test & learn experimentation to ensure that the end user and customer experience is continuously optimized
- Incorporate and understanding of the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.)
- Take accountability for the delivery of key product enhancements and partner with Guild members to deliver (e.g. CX&D, Product Management - Technical)
- Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and surface any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget. Proactively communicate situation and proposed solutions to senior management
- Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans
- Participate in cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Product Management-Technical, CX&D) in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives
- Actively partner with the Guilds to create best practices within the Program with a focus on driving continuous improvement in the Programs operating model and make proposals to Program leadership on enhancement opportunities
- Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
- Interface with customer relationship managers to test concepts and monitor issuer pilots
- Participate in bringing solutions to market

- Bachelors degree in business or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years Sales or Product related experience from Payment Fraud, Banking or Software Development space
- Experience in product management, product development, and project management desirable
- Knowledge of payments industry with focus on fraud management
- Effective problem solver, identifying and mitigating risks, solving and / or escalating issues as appropriate
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to conduct structured analysis and synthesize large amounts of data.
- Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and Mastercard
- Extensive experience working on product launches in multiple markets
- Improve team processes that accelerate product development, delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality
