Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Leading construction teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and laborers, ensuring they follow project specifications and safety standards.
  • Acting as the point of contact between project stakeholders, including Project Manager, Subcontractors and client engineers.
  • Managing and enforcing construction contracts with subcontractors.
  • Ensuring the availability of materials, equipment, and personnel required for construction.
  • Overseeing construction budgets and ensuring costs stay within limits. This includes managing contracts, and any changes in scope.
  • Ensuring all safety regulations, standards, and procedures are followed, promoting a safe working environment. This includes conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations related to construction, environmental concerns, and oil and gas industry standards.
  • Ensuring that construction is carried out according to engineering designs, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Identifying potential risks in the construction process (e.g., weather, supply delays, technical challenges) and taking proactive steps to mitigate them.
  • Resolving issues and challenges that may arise during the construction process, such as delays, budget overruns, or design changes.
  • Keeping accurate records of all construction-related documentation, such as contracts, permits, inspection reports, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Ensuring the construction is completed to specifications and overseeing testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering Bachelors Degree.
  • 10+ years of Experience.
