HSE senior Engineer

SUEZ Middle East HQ is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to enrich our Business Development Team. Based in Dubai, this pivotal role will contribute significantly to the strategic expansion of SUEZs operations across the Middle East and Central Asia. We are seeking a dynamic professional who is eager to drive our development initiatives and foster meaningful relationships in these key regions for the Group.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Reporting and assist the HSEI Manager in the health, safety ,environment and Industrial documentation topics / aspects according the HSEI policy and objectives.
• Apply the site Health & Safety, Environment rules, instructions, and procedures. (e.g. Observe work in progress, ensure that proper safety equipment is used, and standard / procedures are followed).
• Apply the site compliance for Health & Safety, Environment rules, instructions, procedures, and Action plan.
• Apply and follow up on the subcontractor interventions with prevention plan.
• Assist all departments in implementation of H&S compliance (e.g. Audits ).and follow up implementation % with regular auditing ( internal / external ).
• Assist on updating the Risk assessment & the SMP & SOP (Safety precaution). Provide administrative support to the HSEI Manager and Project Manager.
• Assist with issuance of the Weekly Minutes of Meeting, monthly HSE performance bulletin & Incident Reporting.

• Preparation of monthly reports, materials for meetings and presentations.
• Preparation of the pre-job safety meeting on special jobs (Confined space - Working at height – Hot work .. etc.).
• Implement and preparedness of health, safety ,environment and Industrial plan and emergency plan according the HSEI policy and objectives. (e.g. HSE plan and emergency plan )

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering ( Mechanical / Electrical ) or equivalents.
Min 6 years in the same field.
Proficient user of all Microsoft Office programs including Excel, word, Vision. MS Project and PowerPoint.
Good knowledge of Wastewater treatment risks.
Excellent command of English is a must.
