Algebra Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Associate to join our team. As an Investment Associate, you will play an integral role in the investment process, including sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies in their growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and identify potential investment opportunities
  • Analyze investment opportunities by performing financial modeling and due diligence
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee
  • Support the due diligence process by conducting research and analysis on target companies
  • Work closely with portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support
  • Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for technology and startups
