Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to oversee key operational and regulatory activities in pharmaceutical logistics. This role involves managing sponsor communications, ensuring compliance with GDP guidelines, handling importation processes, and maintaining documentation for ongoing studies. The ideal candidate will also coordinate depot activities, risk assessments, and audits while ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Training will be provided for specific technical tasks such as container qualification, thermal mapping, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory & Importation Activities:

• Prepare and submit importation packages for governmental hospitals and clinical sites.
• Handle submission and follow-ups for importation approvals with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) in Maadi.
• Apply for destruction approval through EDA and prepare the necessary certificates.

Depot & Logistics Oversight:

• Conduct daily checks on depot activities, including condition monitoring, shipment preparation, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines through regular updates and implementation.
• Oversee thermal mapping, calibration, and container qualification (training provided).
• Manage drug and material orders from vendors.

Financial & Reporting Duties:

• Prepare and process monthly invoices for all ongoing studies.
• Generate and submit monthly reports on ongoing studies.

Risk & Quality Management:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential operational challenges (training provided).
• Work with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and develop new SOPs as required.
• Assist in preparing for and attending audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
• Experience in pharmaceutical logistics, regulatory affairs, or clinical trial management is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for handling sponsor emails and government correspondence.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with GDP guidelines and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Additional Information:

• On-the-job training will be provided for container qualification, thermal mapping, and risk assessment.
• The role requires periodic visits to regulatory authorities (EDA) and close collaboration with government and clinical institutions.
