Job Title Internship: UI development - Angular vs Blazor Job Description Assignment type: Internship Start date: 1st of September 2024 Assignment duration: 6 months Location: Veghel Educational level: HBO (Bachelors) Desired study: Software Engineering Language: Dutch or English Your assignment
  • We are developing software in C# for a Parcel sortation system.The user interface has been implemented in Angular.
  • We want to investigate if it is possible to replace Angular with Blazor (C#) and if such a change would have any benefits.
  • The user interface consists of some complex components so changing tools is a challenge
  • The assignment is an internal study to investigate if Blazor is a better tool for UI development than Angular.

Your department
  • The team develops software in C# for an external customer.
  • We work in an Agile way together with the customer.
  • The team consists of 10 people working in Veghel and Eastern Europe
Your responsibilities
  • Study existing UI software to understand the functionality and non-functional requirements like performance.
  • Fact based research about the cons and pros of both Angular and Blazor for the type of UI that we build in our team.
  • Small prototype in Blazor of a challenging piece of the UI to demo pro’s and cons of Blazor compared to Angular.

Your Profile
  • Knowledge of and affinity with UI development (tools)
  • C# programming language
  • Agile method of working
  • Mandatory enrollment in a Dutch Education System and resident of The Netherlands
