PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Active and reactive partner in the implementation, development and achievement of corporate targets, visions, and the mission statement of the corporate culture of our company, based on the department-but also the cross-departmental issues.

Accounting sees itself as a service department to prepare documents for the management, subsequently the entire company as well as for external customers on management request. The information must be provided promptly and in consideration of current legal and business knowledge. The companys growth and increasing shareholder value is to be secured by strategic requirements. The development of the accounting information system and the business core competence is to be ensured by a continuous staff development.

Initiator, coach, and active partner in the work and process with regard to target definition and execution of the department and staff identified problems.

Accounting

  • Performs accurate bookkeeping entries for accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintains files invoices and other financial records and accounting data
  • Provide data for financial reports.
  • Provide data to the CEO and management committee for reports.
  • Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning for related modules
  • Tracking cost development for WIP (work in progress)
  • Valuation of all items in storage (Inventory control on value side)
  • Fixed Assets Responsibility
  • Cash support for different business cases if needed
  • Financial planning in close cooperation with the Vice President Finance, Controlling & IT

Compliance

  • Performs accurate bookkeeping entries for accounts payable and receivable
  • Compliance with GAAP and IFRS as well as tax matters
  • Compliance with all legal requirements and internal Group in external financial reporting
  • Description of the individual tasks)

Management Tasks

  • Personnel decisions within the department, in consultation with the General Manager Finance. Selection of staff if necessary.
  • Coaching staff by identifying training needs, employee mentoring, appraisals, etc.
  • Creation of conditions that contribute to employee motivation and give frequent and clear feedback.
  • Reporting to higher level organizational departments
  • Give clear tasks and to the employees
  • Guide SAP B1 implementation regarding accounting topics
  • Ongoing, general and task-related information to staff and others (also in terms of motivation and corporate identity).
  • Monitoring the correctness and plausibility of offers and meeting customer deadlines and KPI targets.
  • Promote and develop individual strengths of all employees of the department.
  • Reduction and prevention of possible weaknesses through personal interviews, training and instruction.
  • Strengthen the team spirit
  • Creation of motivating employees acting for the environment

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Meeting the department goals by keeping the budget, schedule and quality

- Efficient execution of the assigned tasks and projects in cooperation with the board and the head of department

- Active participation in meeting the business objectives

- Reconciling the companys bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers

- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures

- Managing income and expenditure accounts

- Generating the companys financial reports using income and expenditure data

- Keeping a check on the companys finances based on financial status

- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
