Administrative Manager - Cairo, Egypt
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Administrative Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative, human resources, legal, and financial affairs of our Cairo office. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, full regulatory compliance, and the smooth functioning of all support services, enabling business operations to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Management
Supervise all administrative activities, including office management, procurement, and facility services.
Ensure the office is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.
Liaise with government authorities, landlords, and service providers as needed.
Implement and maintain office policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Legal Affairs
Coordinate with external legal advisors to ensure compliance with Egyptian labor, tax, and commercial laws.
Manage legal documentation, contracts, company licenses, and ensure timely renewals and submissions.
Act as the point of contact for all regulatory bodies and government-related matters.
Maintain a database of all legal and compliance documentation.
3. Human Resources
Support talent acquisition by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
Manage employee records, benefits administration, and HR policies ensuring local compliance.
Oversee employee relations, performance management processes, and grievance handling.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, including social insurance and labor office requirements.
4. Financial and Accounting Oversight
Coordinate with internal/external accountants to manage accounting records and monthly reporting.
Ensure timely payment of vendors, salaries, utilities, and government dues (e.g., taxes, social insurance).
Monitor and manage office budgets, cash flow, and financial planning in coordination with the finance department.
Prepare periodic financial and administrative reports for headquarters.
5. General Management and Reporting
Report regularly to headquarters management on the status of all back-office functions.
Provide strategic advice to improve processes, reduce costs, and maintain compliance.
Lead a small support team if applicable (e.g., administrative assistants, office drivers).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, HR Management, Finance, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in administrative, HR, legal, or financial management roles. Experience working in a multinational or regional setup is an advantage.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Egyptian labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
Familiarity with financial statements and HR management systems.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
