Key Responsibilities

• Finance Operations & Performance Management

  • Own and oversee financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery in line with global and local standards.

  • Drive cost accuracy and strong financial controls, ensuring correct estimations, job costing, and reporting.

  • Take full accountability for financial performance management, KPIs, and service controls.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business results.

• Leadership & Team Management

  • Directly lead a team, ensuring strong performance, task follow-up, and engagement.

  • Act as an active mentor, pushing team members to excel and fostering professional growth.

  • Provide leadership beyond direct reports by collaborating with other finance teams to maintain accurate financial reporting.

  • Own the financial performance of the country, ensuring figures are reported correctly and on time.

• Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and capacity optimizations.

  • Manage multiple stakeholders across different countries, seniority levels, and functions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Agile methodologies and project management experience.

  • Ensure compliance with internal audits, owning mitigation measures and corrective actions.

What We Are Looking For

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience, directly managing teams.

  • Strong background in financial operations within supply chain, retail, or shipping industries.

  • Hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, or Agile methodologies (a plus ).

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in Excel (formulas, data analysis, financial reporting).

  • SAP experience is a must ; proficiency in other ERP systems is a plus .

• Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, handling diverse seniorities and functions across multiple countries.

  • Highly structured, analytical, and detail-oriented.

  • Proven ability to drive engagement, mentor team members, and ensure task follow-up.

  • Fluent in English (a must); Arabic as a mother tongue.
