Your role and responsibilitiesYou will be mainly responsible for: •Independent product selection and knowhow of complete service offering portfolio. Be go-to person for service sales for technically complex cases and larger projects where product management expertise is required. Push ABB Ability digital portfolio as a key strategic direction as part of offering. •Support sales in defining suitable and customized service contract portfolio offerings through- VAS (value added services), replacements, advance services, spares parts & digital offerings. Preparation of marketing material for digital offerings, advanced services and value proposition to promote service offerings. Independent product selection using Motion Service tools. •Prepare technical and commercial offers for standard products or spares and support customer discussions in coordination with the sales team to secure business opportunities. Ensure we have professional templates and implement a consistent offering touch and feel to the customer motion service as a whole. •Prepares or supports preparation of technical or commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Division or feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives. •Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment. Co-ordinate with service sales team to ensure on time order booking, time sheet entry and revenues. Co-ordinate with Service partners for training, price list, offers and orders in full alignment with sales team and division strategy. •Participate in conferences, workshops, lunch and learn sessions and conduct training sessions for customers and key stakeholders when applicable in full alignment with sales team and division strategy. •High availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer requests such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, failures and related immediate support requests. •Support selling the full-service portfolio. Support to achieve OR targets set with GM% planned - cost efficient solution offerings.
Qualifications for the role- Bachelors degree in electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales Support.
- Comprehensive technical understanding and good Experience of Motion Product
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions - defend and negotiate profitable and risk-free contracts as per ABB guidelines.
- Fluency in both English & Arabic languages is required. French is a plus
