Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Identifying potential health and safety hazards in the workplace through regular inspections and safety audits. This includes assessing risks related to machinery, chemicals, and work practices.
  • Creating and implementing procedures for safe working practices to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Developing and implementing safety programs and initiatives to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
  • Creating emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, fire safety protocols, and first-aid training.
  • Conducting safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed about safety procedures and hazards.
  • Ensuring that all operations are compliant with local and international safety regulations, as well as industry standards like OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), ISO (International Organization for Standardization), and local environmental laws.
  • Regularly inspecting workplaces, facilities, and work processes to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and identify potential hazards.
  • Identifying any non-compliance issues and reporting them to management, proposing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Preparing detailed incident reports, documenting findings, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Overseeing the proper disposal of hazardous materials and ensuring that waste management practices follow environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering Bachelors Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience
