Senior Software Tester

Job Overview: We seek a detail-oriented Senior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The Software Tester will be responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing. You will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work as intended and deliver a flawless user experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for new and existing software applications.
• Identify, log, and track bugs, errors, and defects using tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
• Continuously enhance and expand test automation frameworks.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure application stability.
• Perform regression testing after software updates to verify that existing functionality remains intact.
• Document test results, prepare reports, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, including user manuals and release notes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Tester.
• Proficiency in testing tools (e.g. Appium, JIRA, Postman).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
