Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced FACADE STEEL 3D DESIGNER, w/ INVENTOR Experience with a strong background in steel facade systems design. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, proficient in creating detailed 3D models, system drawings, and shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D/3D. The candidate must have expertise in structural steel detailing, facade steel connections, and assembly drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for facade steel structures using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop steel facade designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Generate shop drawings, cutting lists, and bill of materials (BOM) for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to optimize design solutions.
• Conduct structural analysis and propose solutions for steel facade connections.
• Provide accurate estimations for materials, fabrication, and installation costs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide technical expertise on facade steel designs.
• Revise designs and drawings as needed based on feedback from stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facade steel design and detailing.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and steel detailing.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D for technical drawings.
• Experience in structural steel facade connections and assembly.
• Knowledge of steel materials, welding, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
