A DevOps Engineer is required to plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless collaboration between software development and IT operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with configuration management tools, a solid understanding of DevOps practices, and familiarity with cloud platforms. They should also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Their responsibilities includes:

· Deploy and maintain applications on cloud-native micro-services architecture

· Manage the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency

· Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, recovery, and security/performance monitoring

· Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability

· Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments

Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies

· Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments

· Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement

Skills & requirements

· Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

2+ years of experience as DevOps engineer

· Experience with maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale

· Strong experience with AWS or any other cloud platform

· Strong experience with containers (Docker, Compose, ECS, Kubernetes)

· Strong experience with various managed and self-hosted CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Mule, Spinnaker)

· Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI

· Strong experience with version control system experience (e.g. Git)

· Strong experience with SQL RDBMS experience(e.g. Postgres)

· Experience with NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)

Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)

Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube

Experience with artifact servers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From E£35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cairo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
