Mechanical BIM Modeller

Job description:

1. Create accurate 3D models of building structures, infrastructure, and other components based on architectural and engineering drawings.

2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the models.

3. Integrate data from various sources and disciplines into the BIM models, ensuring consistency and compatibility.

4. Develop and maintain BIM standards and protocols for the project, adhering to industry best practices and client requirements.

5. Generate detailed drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM models to support construction and design documentation.

6. Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve any potential conflicts or inconsistencies within the model.

7. Assist in the coordination and communication of project information across various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

8. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and software to optimize modeling processes and enhance project efficiency.

9. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members regarding BIM software and workflows.

10. Ensure the BIM models comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.

Job Skills & Abilities:

1. Proven experience in BIM modeling and proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools.

2. Strong understanding of construction principles, building systems, and architectural design processes.

3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

4. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
