System Administrator

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled System Administrator with 2 years of experience to manage and maintain Unix and Linux-based systems, as well as support VMware vSphere environments and high availability configurations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system installations, scripting and automation, and ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery solutions. Experience with Big Data cluster management is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Unix and Linux operating systems.
• Automate tasks and streamline workflows using scripting tools.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments and ensure system performance and availability.
• Implement and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Assist in Big Data cluster management and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Unix and Linux OS installation and administration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of high availability configurations and disaster recovery best practices.
• Familiarity with Big Data cluster management.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar IT role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCSA, VMware, or similar) are a plus.
