The Field Specialist provides offshore and onshore support to customers and Baker Hughes (BH) for installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services.

As a Field Services Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Having the ability to follow and execute Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP)
• Controlling, function testing, repairing and reporting of necessary maintenance of delivered or rented equipment
• Controlling Inventory of Baker Hughes related equipment offshore
• Performing all Pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance procedures
• Assisting and performing preparation of work, status or problem reports to customer or project
• Assisting in planning of shipping Baker Hughes equipment from offshore or customer site
• Assisting and performing Failure investigations and review of NPT occurrences
• Assisting and performing stack-up testing and participate in preparation of Installation procedures and Stack-up Testing programs
• Complying with & promoting Company and Regulatory HSE requirements and procedures as well as Quality Management systems
• Ensuring the Daily Operation Report is updated and handover to relevant offshore personnel
• Working onshore when requested by Field Service Supervisor
• Assisting with preparation of Maintenance procedures, if requested

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Petroleum Engineering/ Communications
• Have 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field
• Have good knowledge of appropriate Baker Hughes products and equipment
• Have working Proficiency in written & spoken English
• Have knowledge of Drilling and Production processes related to Baker Hughes tools
• Have completed approved Safety Training as required
• Have a proactive approach to allocated tasks, taking ownership of all aspects of the job: Equipment; Spares; Reviewing job history / lessons learned; Able to follow Procedures e.g. Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project Related Procedures (PRP)
• Have the skill and confidence to perform Troubleshooting and Repair work
• Have the skill at discussing technical problems and solutions with the Customer
• Have good knowledge about Subsea Operations including X-Trees, Wellhead, Connection systems and control systems
